On to more relevant news...
Several weeks ago after early morning prayer, EChangLee had the brilliant idea of going kayaking at the La Jolla Coves. I told her I was up for the adventure (a little apprehensive but excited nonetheless). Little did I know what I had gotten myself into, which oddly enough, seems to be the underlying theme whenever I hang out w/this girl. Let me preface this story by explaining I've been kayaking once in my life..summer after senior year in hs to be exact, at Catalina with Pees & Alice, where there are no waves and the water is calm. Unbeknownst to me, the La Jolla Coves did have waves...a lot of them actually and big ones at that!
Long story short, I lost my sunglasses in the ocean and my "waterproof" digital camera is pretty much lifeless.
Lesson learned: don't buy expensive things and take them into the ocean with you.
Nothing like a hot cup of coffee and some desserts to cheer me up~

Father's Day Dinner

With the help of SunHi SMN and EChangLee I've begun my new hobby for the summer..scrapbooking~
 
Last but not least, some of us went out to support CPC at this year's KAPC Volleyball Tournament. Good job guys!!
 
Oh yeah, did I mention I got to see Bi? Click here --> 12/11/06 to refer back to my old post where I explained how one of my goals while in Korea was to see a celebrity. Iwasthisclose to seeing Bi at the Hyundai Dept Store by our apt before he quickly evaded us but not this time!! Ironic how I finally get to see a Korean celebrity whilst on American soil..
